Short answer: A daily auto importer workflow starts with vehicles added to the site. It then defines which car was selected, which fields should appear, whether the offer is still current and when the post should be prepared for a Facebook Page and Instagram.
Start the day from one source
The site catalog is the daily working source. Before moving a record into a post, organize at least the vehicle name or model, image, price, condition, category, availability and detail-page link. These are practical examples for a workflow. A particular catalog may be structured differently.
Keep site updates separate from social publishing. A vehicle can be added to the site but still need a check of its image, price or status before it is ready. Write down who performs that check and what ready means for the team.
Choose the vehicle by an explicit rule
One option is view-based selection. If the business wants to show vehicles that people already inspect in the catalog, the queue can start with high-viewed records. Another option is low-viewed selection when attention should move to less noticed stock. A third option is a manually prioritized category, such as a vehicle type or condition.
Illustrative example: In the morning, the team reviews vehicles added to the site. The rule chooses one high-viewed vehicle, one low-viewed item and one manually prioritized category. This is only an example and does not define a required daily quantity.
Check the record before the post
- The price and condition match the current site record.
- The image shows the same vehicle.
- The detail link opens the right page and the contact action is clear.
- The car is still available and was not already published by the same rule.
- The route to the Facebook Page and Instagram is agreed.
Write the daily loop
A practical loop can be written as: read the source, apply the selection rule, check the fields, prepare the post, place it in the channel schedule and record the resulting state. If data is wrong or access is not confirmed, hold the record for review and write the reason instead of publishing it silently.
Include exceptions. A sold vehicle should stop its queue entry. A changed image may require a new review. Missing selection data may require a manual decision. These rules make the daily process easier to operate and explain.
